 At Child’s Day, the experiences and
environment are tailored to meet individual students' needs and stimulate learning in all
developmental areas. The kindergarten program emphasizes and supports the development of
language by teaching reading and writing in ways that respond best to the needs of the
children in the group. This integrated approach includes elements of
emerging contemporary techniques as well as traditional methodologies. Critical thinking
and problem solving are a natural part of daily mathematics activities. Language arts and
mathematics concepts and skills are woven into science and social studies activities,
providing connections for better understanding.The program includes high expectations for student learning, supported with challenging curriculum and motivating environments that respect and provide for the needs and interests of all students. |
