Puffins

Welcome Puffins Parents!

There will be many fun, active, educational things happening this year. Our class will go on field trips, explore the world around us through science, learn new art techniques and share new experiences with literacy and math. Our main goals to work on throughout the year are building confidence, independence, and conflict resolution.

Positive parent involvement and participation are both key to quality childcare and emotionally healthy children. I appreciate that many of you have busy schedules and heavy workloads, but rest assured – there are many ways you can contribute to our Puffins class. Please consider the following:

• Donating items from our wish list
• Inviting us to your workplace for a field trip
• Reading a book to your child and a few friends at drop off time in the morning
• Driving and supervising on field trips
• Having lunch with your child in class
• Visiting us to share a favorite family activity or tradition

These are just a few ideas in ways to help out this year, so feel free to suggest other ways in which you can get involved.
