Honey Bears

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Welcome to the Honey Bears classroom! I am delighted to be teaching at Child’s Day as the Honey Bears teacher. The joy I experience when I watch a young child explore the world is what led me to earn a M.S. in Family and Child Studies from Texas State University-San Marcos. I have worked in the early childhood field for over 5 years, with over 3 years of experience as a lead teacher.

Joining us on this journey through toddlerhood is Chris Lance and Juanita Beam. Chris is the Assistant Teacher, and Juanita is our Support Teacher. Our work hours will be the following:

                Alice: 7:30-5:30

                Chris: 9:30-6:00

                Juanita: 8:00-4:30

Our team is well-educated and trained in child growth and development. We are looking forward to working with each child and family. Our goal is to foster a classroom community filled with trust, the ability to explore the world, and love. We believe this is what toddlers need at this stage of development and we are committed to this task.

Furthermore, parent/teacher partnerships are vital to the success of an early childhood classroom, and I firmly believe in this. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you may have. My contact information is below.

Sincerely,

Alice Navarro
