Pandas

Dear Parents and/or Caregivers,

Welcome to the Pandas Classroom!  The Panda’s team is eager to begin the upcoming school year with your children.  We look forward to lots of discovery, growth, and learning opportunities.

My name is Jessica Clay and I am so thrilled to be leading the Panda’s team this year. I began working at Child’s Day in 2009 in the infant center.  I then spent one year as the Robins assistant and two years as the Robins lead teacher.   I am also a certified Health Coach and the creator of the Child’s Day health and nutrition newsletter, Living Health.  I am passionate about the education of young children and proud to be involved in their learning. My intention this year is to create a supportive and loving environment where your child can be free to explore all the possibilities of learning.

The other members of the Pandas team are Gabby Rodriguez and Kevin Simonds.  This will be our second year working together and I am grateful to have such a supportive and cohesive team.  This year Gabby will be stepping into the Associate teacher role, meaning she will lead when I am not present.  She is educated in child development and an essential component of our team.  Kevin will be our support staff and he brings dynamic creativity and contagious love to the classroom.  Gabby and Kevin combined have years of early childhood classroom experience.  Our hours of work will be:

Jessica:                 M- 7:30-5:30, T-F 12:45-5:45

Gabby:                 7:30-4:30

Kevin:                   8:30-6:00

As you can see, our team is enthusiastic, educated and experienced.  We are more than ready to guide your child through the exciting exploration of the developing world around them.  Open and direct communication between parents/caregivers and teachers is an essential tool in the life of a developing preschooler.  Below you can find our classroom email address.  Please feel free to contact us at any time.  Our team is here for the betterment of all children at Child’s Day and we look forward to the school year ahead.

Best Wishes,

The Pandas Team
